TDBrichedit  moves cursor to begin  on dsBrowse->dsEdit

Hello,

I am using TDBrichedit 1.8, state of datasource is dsBrowse:

Entering Text with keyboard works ok: Text appears on selected position,

Datasource changes to DsEdit.

Adding Text via Paste or inserting via Popupmenu:

Datasource changes to DsEdit, caret moves to start of text,

insertions/changes happen there and not on the previously selected position.

Same with manually switching to DsEdit->

cursor moves to start.

Workaround (remember caret position in dsBrowse and reposition

caret after change in Editmode) gives problems with (nested) tables.

Is there a better way to handle this ? (except

bringing the datasource immediately into edit-state)
