Tables - How to determine selection/carret

This should be simple but it's driving me crazy. Let's say I have a TRichViewEdit

called rvMain. It has a table inserted into it. I need to disable/enable

my table buttons (merge, cell color, insert row, etc) when the cursor moves.

I can't figure out how to determine when the cursor is in a table and or

cell. Basically, I just need to know how to get a reference to the current

table. I've tried GetCurrentItemEx but can't seem to figure out how to make

that work.
