It's possible to hide/unhide some parts of text?

I use richview like aol messager viewer and i use TimeStamp before each

line. Peraps i can hide the timestamp if to know the time is not needed and

display it when needed? I don't know if it's possible or not? Apparently i

can't use margin ? Please, let me know your opinion about that, thanks :-)
