Well, I tested these tables in several browsers:

IE: both tables look as expected

Opera: the old table is shown without cell borders (only border around

tables), the new table is shown with double borders

Mozilla: the old table look as expected, the new has double borders.

The problem is in border-style attribute. I'll remove it for cells for such

tables.
