is it possible to get the old newsserver on line for a few days,
so we can download all the previous messages
and store it in our own archive ?

It was always a great source of information for me !

Unfortunately, I was not able to contact the newsgroup server owners for the quite a long time. I still do not know the status of this archive. I still hope it's not damaged when of the server was crashed.
In the worst case, I have copies of all my answers to the newsgroup.
In the best case, newsgroups will be opened in read-only mode, and I'll try to find a way to convert them in a searchable archive file.

if you don't succeed, there may be someone on the list who has an archive (in Mozilla is one of the standard settings),
(I do it for a number of newsgroups, but not for richview, because I found it very stable and fast in the air again after a crash

I do have copies of the all the old newsgroup messages. I think that I can export them in some sort of readable format from XanaNews. Let me know if you want me to look into this. ([email protected])
