Wrapper for Reportbuilder and ScaleRichView

Post by BernhardRoos »

There are many other problems if the Editor (from ActionTest) is used within the Wrapper for Reportbuilder.
Is there a Wrapper special for the ScaleRichView?
For the moment I can't get it run.
Best wishes

There are 2 possible using of ScaleRichView in ReportBuilder:

1) Replacing TRVReportHelper in ppRichView objects. I think it makes no sense. Drawing will be the same, but repagination is different. Currently, TRVReportHelper's repagination procedure is better then ScaleRichView's one (for example, ScaleRichView does not support page breaks in table cells yet)

2) Changing an editor form. Are there another problems, except for incorrect assignment of events?

I cant explain it exactly (my english is not so good), but at the moment I was not able to implement it that it works. Sometimes if I add a table the table is much more width than the page width. This happens, if I post my report (with the ppRichView component) and load it again and start again the Editor). Perhaps I do something wrong.
For the moment I'm using the normal TRichView (not the ScaleRichView) again. Perhaps I try it again in a few weeks with the ScaleRichView.
Best wishes

Do you use the latest TRichView version? There was a bug in loading RTF tables, when RTF file contains both tables with widths in % and fixed width.

Besides, tables really can be wider than page width.
