Hello,

Is there any public roadmap of TRichView available?

Best regards

Plans (with no promises or dates, without specific order):
- integration in DevExpress products
- intergrations in FastReport
- option to measure values in twips (1/1440 of inch) instead of pixels
- real styles, like in MS Word
- good HTML import
- import of DocX (as a paid addon)

Hi there,

just out of interest, is there any public roadmap for
Richview/ScaleRichview?

Lets say, what's to expect in comming 2017 versions?

Regards

Is there any news on a Firemonkey version of TRichView/TRichViewEdit?

Thanks.

I want to add some new features (not too complicated but noticeable) to TRichView and ScaleRichView in February, and release it as TRichView 17.
Also, we plan to release RVMedia update.
Then I'll concentrate on porting. But I think, before porting, I have to do one change: to make TRichView completely Unicode inside. Because of dual Ansi/Unicode text model, many functions are implemented twice. Unicode internals will make the conversion much more simple.
However, maybe, before FM, I'll convert to Lazarus for Windows, if it will not be too difficult.

The work will start only after releasing TRichView 17 (planned in May)

FireMonkey will be started when Lazarus port will be finished.
Currently, TRichView and RichViewActions have been ported and uploaded. ScaleRichView is ported by 90%. We still need to finish SRVControls and Report Workshop. I think it will take at least one month.
In background, we are porting RVMedia to FireMonkey, I and believe it will be ported sooner than TRichView.
