IDE Installer

Post by Sergey Tkachenko »

We released our installer program as freeware with source code:
http://www.trichview.com/ideinstall/

We created it for our own use, but if other developers like it, they can use it for installing their components.

This installer is suitable for installing both precompiled trial and source code versions of components.

IDE Installer v1.1

Post by Sergey Tkachenko »

IDE Installer v1.1

fix: installing in RAD Studio 2007-2010
fix: installing cbproj packages
new: a new mode of uninstallation, uninstalling from all supported versions of Delphi and C++Builder
impr: when uninstalling from a command line, the installer starts and exits without a confirmation; this mode is optimal for calling from a larger uninstaller.

I downloaded and opened ReadMe.chm, it works.
Make sure that you open it from a local hard disk (not from network disk) and the path to the file does not include "#" character.
