Does it planned to include OpenDocument format support?

I also would appreciate the OASIS OpenDocument format supported by TRichview.
For a new project in the future, we think about switching from RTF format in text-blob fields within databases to OASIS OpenDoc.

OpenDocukment support will be made available through a separate importer. Features supported cannot be disclosed at this moment, since a lot of work still has to be done.

There will not be full support for all aspects of the OD specification, since TRichView does not support all features.

At this moment, simple text and styles can be loaded through the importer.

Question for anyone interested in OpenDocument support:

Which features do you really need first?

Status as of now for the OpenDocument importer:

- Simple styles, using styles subdoc and content subdoc.
- Loading embedded WMF images. This includes bitmaps.
- Table, table cell and table column styles are parsed. No display of tables yet.

To do for now:
- Global styles and other style related things
- Tables (displaying)
- Drawings and textboxes

Improved global styles parsing.

Nothing more at the moment. A bit lack of time due to my new born son :D

Born in good health on November 17th, 8:16 am, weighing 3860 gr and a length of 55 cm. Mother and son are doing fine.
